Keto Fat Bombs

Honestly, I wasn't going to share a photo of this, let alone the recipe for it.

I thought it was such a fail because they didn't look the way I wanted them to originally.

A good friend of mine straight up told me I was an idiot, and that they look incredible! These are the types of people I need in my life, clearly haha!

First thing's first; fat does NOT make you fat. Fat doesn't turn into fat in the body, in fact, it actually promotes weight loss, keeps you full longer, gives you energy while fuelling your body & promotes optimum brain function.

The maca is an adaptogen, which helps regulate the adrenals with no side effects, give the body energy (without the crash), regulates the hormones, and is a good source of antioxidants. The cacao in the mixture enhances the antioxidants in the maca synergistically. (I use Organika maca+cacao superfood powder)

Also!! Bee pollen!

Great source of B vitamins which increases energy, also contains antioxidants, is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, & has a decent amount of protein! (I use Beekeepers Naturals)

They're great for a mid-day snack, if you don't have time for breakfast, or if you wanna crush a sweet tooth craving!

So here's the recipe for these amazing fat bombs!!

Recipe

What you'll need:

1 cup raw cacao butter

1/4 cup organic butter

1/4 cup maca+cacao powder

1/2 tbsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp maple syrup

peanut butter (I like crunchy)

bee pollen

shredded coconut

cacao nibs

goji berry powder (optional)

Process:

1. Put cacao butter, organic butter, maca+cacao powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup mix in a pot on the stove until melted.

2. While whisking, sprinkle in the goji powder (optional); turn off the burner.

3. Pour mixture into moulds about 1/4-1/3 of the way; if you don't have one use an ice cube tray. (You should have some left)

4. Put in the freezer for about 15-20mins (or until its solid).

5. Remove from the freezer and add some peanut butter to each mould; then add the rest of the melted down mixture on top.

6. Sprinkle shredded coconut, bee pollen, and cacao nibs in each mould; then put it back into the freezer until solid.

7. Enjoy!
